Now Hiring – Public Works – Borough of Somerdale, Camden County

The Borough of Somerdale is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Department of Public Works team as a full-time laborer.  A valid NJ driver’s license is required with a clean driving and criminal history.  A CDL and public works experience are preferred but not required.  The duties of this position include, but are not limited to road repair, stormwater and sanitary sewer repair/maintenance, asphalt and concrete repair, trash, recycling and brush collection,  facility and lawn maintenance, winter operations (such as snow plowing and other related duties), will be required to operate various types of equipment.  Potential candidate will be required to be available for all emergencies 24/7 including snow/ice control measures during the winter and live within 10 miles of the Borough.  Successful candidates must undergo background checks, drug tests and obtain CDL within 6 months of the date of employment.  Must be a NJ resident.
