The Somerdale Green Team is excited to announce the Go Green Challenge, an initiative designed to encourage residents to adopt sustainable practices and contribute to a healthier environment. This program is made possible by a grant from Sustainable Jersey and PSEG, organizations dedicated to promoting sustainability in communities across New Jersey.

Participants can choose from three levels of commitment tailored to their sustainability journey. The “Just Getting Started” level is perfect for those new to eco-friendly living, while the “Green Friend” level is designed for individuals already practicing some sustainable habits. For those deeply committed to environmental stewardship, the “Green Champion” level provides a way to go above and beyond in promoting sustainability.

Somerdale Councilmember Barbara Kane, who leads the Green Team, shared her enthusiasm for the challenge: “This is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together and make a real difference. No matter where you start, every step you take toward sustainability is a step toward a healthier future for Somerdale.”
