IMPORTANT NOTICE: The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office is warning residents of a tax scam actively taking place in Camden County. This scam is taking place under the name of a fake agency calling itself “Tax Assessment Securities”. This agency is falsely claiming to be associated with the Camden County Board of Taxation and or the State of New Jersey. This agency is sending residents fraudulent notices of tax debt in an attempt to scam residents into paying money that is not actually owed. These letters are not official notices from the Camden County Board of Taxation and or the State of New Jersey.
